Mod Delay - Mime Time

Modulated stereo delay with tape modes, filters, LFO and ping-pong echoes.

Mod Delay is a creative stereo delay for dub, psy and ambient production. Switch between single, dual and ping-pong engines, shape the repeats with dedicated high-/low-pass filters, and bring the tails to life with tempo-syncable LFO modulation.

Install

Download the Mod Delay package from www.mime-time.com.
Copy Mod Delay.vst3 to your VST3 folder:

- Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

Rescan plugins in your DAW and load Mod Delay on any audio track.
Prefer to work outside a DAW? Launch the Mod Delay standalone app.

Quick start

Drop Mod Delay on a send or insert and pick a preset such as Ping-Pong Wide or

Dub Delay to hear it instantly.

Choose a delay engine — Single, Dual, or Ping-Pong.
Set the delay time (sync to the host tempo or dial it in freely) and raise

Feedback for longer trails.

Enable the Filter and tuck the repeats behind the dry signal with HPF / LPF.
Turn on the LFO, choose a destination, and add Depth for movement.

Tips

Use Ping-Pong with a moderate Feedback and a slow LFO on the filter for

evolving, hypnotic echoes.

For slapback, load Slapback and keep feedback low with a short delay time.
Automate Depth for build-ups and drops.
